Engine Strating System (Requied by NFPA)
When the automatic control circuit fails and the storage battery of the main circuit and the starting motor are in good condition, Battery Contactors can be used to start the diesel engine fire pump mechanically (directly connect the storage battery with the starting motor electrically).

Which sometimes engine can have start up problem because of flat batteries or damaged batteries, so NFPA20 standard required engine starting system should have A1: Two Sets of Batteries and comes together with control device.

Electronic Control box should be able to start engine, if failure with start, should able to use manual mode, which well-know as “CHECK 1” & “CHECK 2”.

In the condition that the control box failure (Such as wiring harness damaged), should able to start engine manually, which is A2: Manual Start Up Device required to achieve this function.
NOTE!
Manual Start Up Device can ensure engine start without using engine control box, it’s a emergency device to ensure the start up of engine.

Meanwhile, due to you have two sets of batteries, so A3: Two Sets of Battery Charges are required (Normally inside of water pump control panel).
