PumpMac Diesel Engine Fire Pump Drivers

Diesel Engine Fire Pump Drivers are composed of diesel engine controller SY-DEC-F010, water pump coordination module SY-WPC-F090, information display module SY-DCP-F070 and other relevant command switches and buttons. They are automatic monitoring systems specially designed for fire fighting and emergency water supply. They can meet the safe operation of the diesel pump set at the rated operating point and 1.5 times of the flow. According to the characteristic curve of the water pump, the shaft power of the water pump is controlled independently to ensure that the diesel engine is not overloaded and stopped passively, which meets the requirements of the national standard and can pass the fire control test smoothly.

Diesel Engine Fire Pump Driver's Modules

The product adopts the architecture of distributed installation and is composed of multiple modules, which are connected by CAN bus. It also has the functions of automatic startup/shutdown, data measurement and alarm protection. The detection data and status can be sent to PC through RS485 or SAEJ1939, which is suitable for various types of diesel fire water supply automation systems.

Diesel Engine Fire Pump Drivers Core Advantage

Meet the safe operation of the diesel pump set at the rated operating point and 1.5 times of the flow. According to the characteristic curve of the water pump, the shaft power of the water pump is controlled independently to ensure that the diesel engine is not overloaded and stops passively. Digital double PID closed-loop regulation, three-dimensional (speed, flow, pressure) mapping algorithm, can flexibly switch the constant speed/constant pressure operation mode of the pump set to meet the needs of diversified fire protection:

  • Constant pressure mode
    When the pump unit is used in the foam fire extinguishing system, stable water pressure is required, and constant pressure control is selected to ensure the foam mixing ratio, improve the fire extinguishing efficiency and save the foam waste.
  • Constant speed mode
    Case 1: When the pump set is used for ordinary fire water supply:
    When the water pump does not reach the rated working condition, the diesel engine runs at a constant speed, and the outlet pressure is controlled within 140% of the rated head.
    Case 2: When the water consumption of the water pump exceeds the rated value:
    The diesel engine automatically adjusts the speed according to the flow change and is controlled by intelligent power to meet the specified head at 1.5 times the rated flow and ensure that the Pn of the diesel engine meets the power demand at any point on the performance curve of the fire pump.

Diesel Engine Fire Pump Drivers Function Details

Intelligent operation mode
1. Constant speed mode: the pump set automatically rises to the rated speed to meet the full-speed water supply demand.
2. Constant pressure mode: support low, medium and high pressure settings,automatically adjust the speed to maintain stable pressure, a dapt to diversified working conditions, and improve the exibility and applicability of water supply.
Precise pressure control and operation monitoring
1. Monitor the inlet/outlet pressure of the water pump in real time, automatically adjust the speed of the diesel engine and stabilize the water supply pressure.
2. Three pressure target values can be set and switched 􀋺exibly t o realize precise pressure control.
3. At the same time, key parameters such as 􀋺ow and bearing tempe rature are monitored to ensure the safe and e􀋿cient operation of the pump and the stability and reliability of the water supply system.
Automatic control and multiple protection
1. Automatic control: support automatic startup (including linkag e startup of external 􀋹re signal, see point 6); manual shutdown or shutdown through external signal.
2. Multiple protection: It has multiple alarm and shutdown protection functions such as overspeed, underspeed, low engine oil pressure and high coolant temperat ure, which can e􀋸ectively prevent abnormal damage to the equipment.
3. Automatic inspection: The cycle and duration can be set to automatically run inspections regularly.
Information display and parameter setting
1. SY-DCP-F070 information display module is equipped with 2.8-inch OLED screen and nixie tube to clearly display the operating parameters, status and alarm information of diesel engine and water pump.
2. Users can easily set the language, clock and other parameters through the panel keys.
Emergency operation and test function
1. Emergency manual start/stop: the equipment can be started manually in case of controller failure; in case of emergency, press the “emergency stop/reset” button to stop the machine immediately.
2. Simulated overspeed test: it can actively trigger the simulated overspeed state to verify whether the overspeed protection function is normal.
Remote Monitoring and System Integration
1. Remote monitoring: real-time data transmission through SAE J1939 and MODBUS protocols, supporting remote monitoring and management.
2. System integration: standard protocol interface and distributed architecture are adopted to support compatible expansion.
3. Fire linkage: under automatic mode, the 􀋹re pump unit can be a utomatically started by receiving the external startup signal (see the third point “Automatic Control” for the shutdown mode).
4. Intelligent algorithm: advanced control algorithm is adopted to meet the requirements of different working conditions.
