DCEC 6CTA8.3-C225 Fire Pump engine is a 4-cylinders in line, 8.3 liter four-strokes engine with 114 mm bore and 135 mm stroke.

Equipped with Mechanical pump and RSV governor, engine comes with turbocharger and Water-Air Intercooler.

The prime power at 3000 RPM of DCEC 6CTA8.3-C225 Fire Pump engine is 116 kW.

  • Good reliability The integrated design of cylinder block and cylinder head prevents water and oil leakage of the engine. There are 40 % fewer parts than the same type of engine, and the failure rate is greatly reduced.

  • The overall cylinder design is adopted, the parts are about 25 % less than similar products, the failure rate is less, and the maintenance is convenient.

  • The cylinder liner adopts plateau honing cross cover, corrosion-resistant high-nickel cast iron piston, which greatly reduces oil loss and improves durability and service life.
